Wiggins seeks a second term and has spent his law enforcement career with Grand County. Winder served as Salt Lake County sheriff from 2007 to 2017 and as Moab police chief from 2017 to 2019. The Times-Independent asked both candidates the same five questions about public safety priorities, the proposed public safety center, workplace concerns, staffing and coordination with other agencies.
