A judge has dismissed two lawsuits challenging land-use decisions in a dispute over Matthew and Tatiana Prince’s proposal to build a new home above Old Town. Third District Judge Richard Mrazik based his decision on a law passed in 2025 by the Utah Legislature that includes a provision allowing municipalities to settle land-use disputes with a property owner through a consent decree.
