UTAH, Sept. 12, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Anglers who catch kokanee salmon between now and Nov. 30 must immediately be released, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Law Enforcement Division has announced. “There is no possession of kokanee salmon at any waterbody statewide during this period,” their spawning season, the Utah DWR statement says.
