SALT LAKE CITY, September 1, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Two Salt Lake City police officers shot and seriously wounded a man who allegedly refused commands to drop a knife Monday night near 600 East and 200 South, police said. The shooting occurred after emergency dispatchers received calls about 8:20 p.m.
