Cooler temperatures have arrived across northern and central Utah, bringing crisp fall weather and fall colors appearing in the mountains. Salt Lake City was expected to reach the low 70s Monday, about 20 degrees cooler than Sunday. Canyon, or bigtooth, maples are among Northern Utah’s top sources of fall color, with orange-red leaves appearing on lower mountain slopes and at mid-elevations.
