The Monroe City Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., according to a September 14 notice. The meeting will take place at the Monroe City Offices located at 10 North Main Street.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes the approval of meeting minutes from Aug. 25, 2026, and a period for citizen comments. Additionally, the commission will consider a lot line adjustment for a property located at 65 W 200 N, submitted by Allen Geisler.
Commissioners are also set to consider an exemption for the Red Hill Estates Subdivision that would allow the zoning administrator to accept preliminary applications without a drainage report.
The meeting will include discussions and considerations regarding updates to the Monroe City Land Use Zoning Ordinance. Proposed updates involve standards for Recreational Vehicle Parks, conditional uses such as tiny home villages and pocket communities, and street improvements for larger lots. The commission also intends to update Utah statutory reference numbers and implement text amendments to provide clarity to the ordinance.
Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting may notify Monroe City Treasurer Jacee Barney at least 24 hours in advance.
