Spartans fall to South Sevier in region opener
Explosive second and third quarters from the Rams helped South Sevier overpower Emery in a 56-33 win. South Sevier opened the scoring in the first with a one-yard run by Rayce Freeman. A successful point after brought the score to 7-0. The Spartans responded in kind, marching downfield before quarterback Ajay Thomas delivered a dime to Krae Leroy from 27 yards out for a touchdown.

Runaway second quarter makes the difference as Carbon drops homecoming contest to Delta
Excitement was in the air as the Carbon Dinos took the field on Friday, Oct. 2, as the community packed Dino Field for a homecoming celebration. Opposite the Dinos was a non-region opponent in the Delta Rabbits, who packed the scoreboard in the first half, but Carbon began to mount a comeback in the second half; ultimately, it was too little, too late as the Dinos fell 55-28.
