BEAVER — The first snow of the season has already fallen at Eagle Point Ski Resort in the Tushar Mountains. Normally, that would be a reason to celebrate. But this winter, the chairlifts won't be moving, the slopes will be empty and the sounds of skiers enjoying the mountain have been replaced by workers tearing out damaged materials and preparing for a long recovery.
