Park City Police K-9 suffers serious injuries after fall from freeway overpass

K-9 injured after falling from highway overpass during I-80 investigation
K-9 Bruno jumped from the freeway overpass near the Highway 40/Interstate 80 interchange and sustained serious injuries. "Bruno is more than a police K-9 — he is a partner, a member of our department, and an important part of the Park City Police family," the department posted on social media.

Park City bomb dog injured while investigating ‘suspicious materials’ along U.S. 40
The items were found to be a battery charging system state troopers believe fell off of a vehicle. ”UHP Lt. Randall said troopers cleared the area with a second bomb-sniffing dog after Bruno was injured. “We know our community cares deeply about Bruno, and we will share additional information about his condition when we are able,” the department said.

Summit County resident, a former USA Climbing coach, could spend up to 15 years in prison for child pornography - Park Record
Matthew Maddison, a Summit County resident and former USA Climbing coach, will spend up to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing sexually explicit videos involving children. Last week, Third District Judge Richard Mrazik determined Maddison should serve prison time for the second-degree felony charge.
