The Emery County Travel Office and Millsite State Park have scheduled the Millsite Chub Scrub tournament to take place at Millsite Reservoir from June 1 through October 3, 2026.
The event is listed among the authorized fishing tournaments for the 2026 season. While the tournament focuses on the reservoir, Millsite State Park officials noted that current water levels have resulted in a boat ramp status of 'Launch At Your Own Risk.'
Millsite Reservoir offers opportunities for boating and fishing, though the park provides boat decontamination services by appointment only. The surrounding area also features trails in Ferron Canyon suitable for mountain bikes and off-highway vehicles.
Camping reservations for the park are available through Reserve America. Available sites include locations with both electric and water hookups, as well as electric-only options.
