Project Update | October 2

Work, Work, Work

Our team is busily making preparations for the final three deck pours in the

middle of October.

Various activities include:

Forming the deck for spans four, five and six

Tying rebar on these same spans

Framing the bridge overhangs

Finishing the rip rap placement

Grading around the bridge embankment.

Looking forward to another busy week with a forecast of blue sky and

sunshine.

*Schedule is subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Top Photo: Our new bridge rises off the desert floor at an average height of 30

feet in the air.

Bottom Photo: The green glow of rebar is moving closer to the east end of the

bridge as our team makes steady progress.

Materials continue to be brought onto the project site from Crosby Way.

All users of the Virgin River Trail need to stop at the designated stop

signs to allow safe passage for equipment and users. We appreciate

your patience and help in maintaining a safe environment.
