Woods Cross will conduct an emergency preparedness communication drill on Thursday, November 12, 2026, according to a October 21 statement.
During the drill, the city requests that residents hang a specific door hanger on their front doors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2026. Volunteers will tally these door hangers and report the counts to the city to simulate a real scenario. The orientation of the hanger does not matter, as the goal is for every household to participate. Residents are asked to keep the door hanger for use in future drills and emergencies.
