Loa Town has released updates regarding upcoming public hearings and schedule changes for its October meetings. The Loa Planning Commission and Town Council have scheduled sessions to discuss various new ordinances.
These meetings will take place at the Loa Town Office located at 80 W. Center, Loa.
The Loa Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for a new business license ordinance on Wednesday, October 8, at 6:30 pm.
Additionally, the Loa Town Council has announced a time change for its October 9, 2025, meeting. The session will now begin at 7 pm instead of 7:30 pm to accommodate several scheduled public hearings.
During the October 9 meeting, the Town Council will conduct public hearings regarding a short term rental ordinance, an electronic ordinance, and a new business license ordinance.
In other community news, Loa Town officials stated they are working on updating local parks and are inviting residents to provide ideas or suggestions.
Loa Town & Waterworks Council meetings are held monthly, and the public is welcome to attend.
