A 22-year-old North Ogden man died Friday following a traffic collision in Idaho's Bear Lake County, according to a report published August 28.
The man was riding a white 2026 Kawasaki KLX110 motorcycle heading east on Minnetonka Cave Road when he collided head-on with a tan 2005 Jeep Liberty.
The Jeep was traveling westbound and was driven by a 66-year-old woman from Montpelier, Idaho.
Idaho State Police stated the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was not wearing a seat belt and was not transported from the scene. The roadway was blocked for approximately four hours following the incident.
The Idaho State Police were assisted at the scene by the Bear Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Bear Lake EMS, Bear Lake Fire, and Intermountain Life Flight.
