Merri Seegrist is organizing the campaign to help manage the financial burden facing Jones' family. According to the fundraiser description, the family is not in a financial position to cover the full cost of the services.
Funds raised through the initiative are intended for funeral and memorial service expenses, burial or cremation arrangements, and other related end-of-life costs required to honor his life.
As of the recent update, the campaign has raised $8,243 toward its $8,000 goal with contributions from 101 donors. The organizer noted that any contribution is appreciated and encouraged others to share the fundraiser to assist the grieving family.
