The Washington County School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on August 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in St. George. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 121 West Tabernacle.
The agenda for the meeting includes a work session covering several topics such as updates on CE/AP, water, USBA, UHSAA, and enrollment. Other work session items include a statewide read-a-thon, the NSBA, and the Ibigawa Japan Delegation. The board will also follow up on previous board meeting items regarding PLC Training for literacy.
Public comment will be held specifically regarding board action items. The board is scheduled to consider the EHS Athletic Field House Project CMGC and an updated WCSD Fee Schedule and Policy 3400 School Fees/Solicitation of Funds. Additionally, the consent agenda includes LEA Specific License Items and TSSA Plan Changes for Dixie High School and Snow Canyon Middle.
A closed session is planned for the meeting to discuss personnel and property items. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for September 28, 2026.
