West Bountiful Elementary is inviting all students to enter original artwork into a yearbook cover contest, according to a November 4 statement. This year's contest theme is Every Piece Matters.
Participants must submit artwork on 8.5 x 11 inch plain white paper in a vertical orientation. To ensure the art is suitable for scanning, it must be dark enough for a printer. The school recommends using markers, paint, or pens rather than lead pencils to prevent smearing, and advises students not to fold the paper.
Submissions must be original work with no copying. To maintain the integrity of the art, no names should be placed on the front of the page; instead, the student's full name, grade level, and teacher should be written on the back in light pencil. All words must be spelled correctly and students are encouraged to use as much white space as possible.
Entries are due in the office by November 18th, 2026. The school body will hold a vote on November 23rd and 24th.
