The Midvale Elementary School School Community Council scheduled a meeting for Oct. 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the school library, according to an agenda posted to the Canyons School District website.
The meeting agenda includes a vote to approve the minutes from the Sept. 14 meeting. Council members were also scheduled to discuss updates regarding the Land Trust and the Title I School Support Plan (TSSP).
Proposed items for approval include amendments to the TSSP and Land Trust funds, as well as a transfer of cell tower funds to the principal’s discretionary fund. Additionally, the council was scheduled to review a safe walking route and digital citizenship.
The agenda also included a school safety report and a review of digital citizenship. Other items for discussion may include various topics presented to the council.
Scheduled training sessions for the council include regular training sessions on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
