Various food assistance resources are available for those in need of food support within the Salt Lake City area. The Utah Food Bank's Mobile Food Pantry provides services at the Glendale-Mountain View Community Learning Center on Thursdays from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, or until food runs out, on a first come first serve basis.
Scheduled dates for the 2025-2026 school year include September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 16, and May 14.
Other food resources located around Salt Lake City include the Crossroads Westside Pantry at 1358 W Indiana Ave, which is open to everyone Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Salvation Army Family Services Program SLC, located at 438 S 900 W, offers services on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants are asked to bring a photo id for every adult in the home and verification of name and birthday for every child, such as a birth certificate, school id, or medical cards.
The Salt Lake City Mission at 1151 S Redwood Rd provides services by appointment on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is open to everyone.
The Cannon Mobile Pantry offers a drive-thru distribution method at 934 W Fremont Ave. Scheduled dates for this service include October 15, October 29, November 12, November 26, December 10, and December 31, all from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This program is open to everyone.
