Utah Military Academy at Camp Williams has released updates regarding school operations, including a morning bus schedule adjustment for Eagle Mountain and a call for parents to join the School Land Trust organization. Principal Sullivan noted that the first week of classes has shown cadets engaged and adapting well to a school day without cell phones or music.
Beginning Monday, August 31, 2026, morning pick-up times for all Eagle Mountain bus stops will be adjusted to 7 minutes earlier than the current schedule. This change aims to provide students with more time to eat breakfast before school begins. Affected stops include locations on Eagle Mountain Blvd, Porters Crossing Pkwy, North Spring Run Pkwy, Aspen Hills Blvd, and Cold Spring Dr.
The school is also seeking five parents, grandparents, or guardians to serve as members of the School Land Trust organization. These members will have a voice in how school funds are used to support student learning and success. Meetings are held on campus approximately three to four times throughout the school year from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Other school updates include a $10 processing fee for any schedule changes requested from this point forward. Additionally, the school is promoting spirit shirts available for $20 in green or black, with orders due by August 29. For the Class of 2027, senior parking spot personalization is available for $30, with painting scheduled for September 12.
