For telecommunications, residents have access to several providers including Emery Telcom, which offers fiber and internet-based phone services, as well as Royce Electronic's River Canyon Wireless for fixed wireless broadband. Other available options include DSL internet from Frontier Communication, along with HughesNet and Starlink satellite services.

Water management in Castle Valley is a decentralized responsibility, as every property owner is tasked with providing their own water supply. The community sits atop a sole source aquifer fed by the La Sal Mountains. While available, the town notes that water quality varies and is noted for being exceptionally hard.
To meet their needs, many citizens utilize private wells on their properties, maintain cisterns with commercial delivery services, or retrieve drinking water from Moab. Furthermore, the enough town does not provide wastewater management; private property owners are required to install and maintain their own septic tanks.
