Sevier County provides fire protection services through contracts with the three largest municipal fire departments in the county, which include Salina, Richfield, and Monroe. In addition to responding to municipal calls such as structural and vehicle fires, firefighters are equipped with advanced training in Hazardous Materials Response and Wildland Fire Management.
Firefighters are certified through the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy and their training exceeds the minimum requirements set by the state of Utah.
