Wasatch Elementary is excited to celebrate Health, Safety & Bike to School Week! Throughout the week, students will participate in fun activities focused on healthy choices, personal safety, and active transportation. We encourage all students to bike, walk, scooter, or roll safely to school whenever possible and remember to wear helmets and follow safety rules.

Monday, September 14
CPR Demonstration
During lunch recess
Students will learn basic CPR awareness and the importance of helping others in emergencies.
Wednesday, September 16
Green Smoothies
During lunch recess
Students can sample healthy green smoothies and learn about nutritious food choices.
Thursday, September 17
Safe Routes Utah Assembly
Students will participate in a special assembly focused on pedestrian, bicycle, and traffic safety.
Learn how to travel safely to and from school.
Friday, September 18
Fire Truck Visit
During lunch recess
Students will have the opportunity to see a fire truck up close and learn about fire safety from local firefighters.
Bike, Walk, or Roll Safely!
Students are encouraged to choose an active way to get to school whenever they can.
Remember:
Wear a helmet.
Watch for cars and follow traffic signals.
Use crosswalks and sidewalks when available.
Be aware of your surroundings and travel safely.
Daily Raffle Prizes
Students who bike, walk, or roll to school will have opportunities to earn raffle tickets throughout the week. Winners will be selected each morning for fun prizes!
