Lehi City officials are currently reviewing a statewide executive order signed by Governor Spencer Cox that places temporary restrictions on fireworks through July 5.
The city leadership team and the Fire Department are evaluating the provisions of the order to determine how it will be implemented within the local community.
Lehi City stated that its priority is protecting the community while providing clear guidance for residents as the Fourth of July approaches.
As many residents have questions regarding the order, the city has asked for patience while details are worked through. An update containing additional information is expected to be provided on Monday, June 29.
