The hearing is scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the council chambers located at 125 S. Main Street, Vineyard, Utah. The proposed amendments target the Vineyard City Zoning Code, Subdivision Code, and other applicable provisions of the Vineyard City Code.
According to the notice, the amendments relate to Senate Bill 284, Local Land and Water Modifications, which was adopted during the 2026 Utah General Session. Proposed changes include provisions for detached accessory dwelling units, structure height regulations, and Planning Commission procedures. Specific provisions regarding detached accessory dwelling units and certain municipal application checklist requirements are scheduled to apply beginning October 1, 2026.
