The Unearth History–America 250 Book Art Contest provided an opportunity for people of all ages to engage with history and imagination. Participants were encouraged to transform books into unique works of art using methods such as folding, cutting, painting, or sculpting.
Inspired by the theme Unearth History, the contest welcomed both experienced artists and those who simply enjoy creating.
The submission deadline for the contest was extended to June 5th. This extension allowed participants extra time to complete their masterpieces.
Judging for the entries took place on June 6th and June 8th. The winners of the competition were scheduled to be announced on June 9th.
The contest organizers provided specific rules and specifications for upcycled book art, as well as an entry form for participants to use during the process.
