The Lehi Legacy Center has announced the Fall 2026 Evil Scientist Academy, an after-school program featuring an Alchemist Academy session for children in grades 1 through 5, according to a July 28 statement.
The Alchemist Academy session focuses on chemistry through hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Scheduled activities include elephant toothpaste eruptions, green fire tornadoes, soda geyser eruptions, and dry ice fog-plosion reactions.
The six-week program will run on Mondays, with sessions held on Sept. 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12, and 19. Two time slots are available: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Registration for the program began on August 1. Residents can register for $101, while non-resident fees are $136. Registration can be completed online or at the Legacy Center Registration Office during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Because space is limited, officials encourage early registration. For the safety of younger participants, parents picking up or dropping off children aged 7 and younger must do so directly from the classroom.
The program will be held at the Lehi Legacy Center located at 123 North Center Street.
