The Salt Lake City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, to consider adopting an ordinance for Budget Amendment No. 1 for Fiscal Year 2026-27, according to a Sept. 10 notice.
The proposed amendment involves adjustments to the final budget and employment staffing document for the 2026-27 fiscal year. According to the notice, the amendment includes $11.5 million in grant funding for Fleet Block and 9 Line improvements, $1 million in grant funds for a pump track, adaptive pump track, and skate park at Glendale Park, and a $700,000 fund transfer for the Old Library Building Project.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Utah State Fairpark, located at 155 South 1000 West, Deseret Building, Salt Lake City. The council will accept public comments during the hearing, which will be held in-person.
