Hot House West hosted a free jazz festival in the heart of Daybreak, featuring ten hours of live music and eight acts. The event aimed to grow diverse audiences for jazz through community experiences and live performance.
The festival lineup included performances by the Blue Note Big Band, The Western Stars, The Jazz Trombone Collective, Critical Hit Collective, Mina Thomas Brett & Old Soul, Alessandro Fadini Quartet featuring Josiah Boornazian, Alicia Wrigley's Sesame Suite, and the Hot House West Swing Orchestra. The musical programming spanned genres including big band, western swing, soul, and modern jazz.
Beyond the main stage, the event provided various activities such as a workshop and jam tent for hands-on learning, and a kids zone featuring games and an instrument petting zoo. The festival was held at the Rio Tinto Kennecott Stage at America First Square.
The festival was designed to be an all-ages event for music lovers, dancers, and families. This iteration followed the first annual HHW Jazz Fest, which brought together hundreds of music lovers.
