Acquicon 2026 is scheduled to convene in Sandy, Utah, from Oct. 19–21, according to a report published Oct. 14. The three-day conference is expected to gather between 400 and 500 attendees, including business owners, investors, capital providers, and M&A professionals.
The application-only event will be held at the Karen Gail Miller Conference Center. Organizers expect approximately half of the attendees to be seasoned business operators, while 35% to 40% are expected to represent active capital and investment interests. The conference targets an operator audience consisting of entrepreneurs running companies with earnings between $2 million and $75 million in EBITDA.
Nathan Byrd, founder of the Acquisition Headquarters ecosystem, stated that the goal is to shift business culture toward stronger relationships, durable enterprise value, and long-term thinking regarding ownership, capital, and wealth. The agenda includes workshops on topics such as acquisition strategies, capital formation, transaction readiness, business exits, and wealth preservation.
The event features several industry executives, including Scott Danner, Chief Growth Officer of Steward Partners. Danner previously grew Freedom Street Partners to manage approximately $3.5 billion in assets before its 2023 merger with Steward Partners.
Other featured participants include Paul Burgon, a partner with KittyHawk Frontier and veteran M&A executive who has helped create more than $3 billion in exits across nearly 100 companies. Additionally, Bill Kirth, a managing partner with Rectify Partners, will serve as a panel moderator and speaker.
Founded in 2022, Acquicon has grown into the flagship national gathering for the Acquisition Headquarters ecosystem. Rather than focusing on startups or venture-backed companies, the conference is designed for established privately held businesses and the investors and advisers surrounding them.
The programming for Acquicon 2026 will begin with a VIP Reception on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, followed by two days of conference sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
