The Kaysville City Planning Commission has announced that it is accepting applications for an open position as an alternate Planning Commissioner.
Role of Planning Commission
The Planning Commission consists of residents appointed by the City Council who bring various professional and vocational backgrounds to the role.
Commission Responsibilities and Duties
The commission is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council regarding land use ordinances, the General Plan, and amendments to the zoning map. Additionally, the commission acts on land applications such as conditional use permits.
Meeting Schedule and Location
Meetings for the commission are generally held at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. These meetings take place in the Council Chambers located at Kaysville City Hall at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT.
