Celebrating the New Wave of Música Latina
SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT – Eccles Presents is pleased to announce VOCES EN BLOOM, an annual bilingual outdoor pop-up concert celebrating rising local Latine voices through music, art, and community.
Held at the McCarthey Plaza at Eccles Theater, the free-to-attend event features a dynamic lineup of local bands, a local DJ, a curated mini art market honoring Latine culture, and local craft beers from Level Crossing Brewing Company. Round out your evening with tasty bites at neighboring Regent Street restaurants. This year’s musical lineup features three Utah artists – Chac Xol, Jazzy Olivo, and Amadora.

Chac Xol is not just a musician but a bridge between worlds. Fusing the soulful rhythms of Mexican and American Folk Rock with ethereal layers of shoegaze, dreampop, and psychedelic rock, Chac crafts soundscapes that seek to explore more ancient memories. Jazzy Olivo, a Dominican American singer, songwriter, actor, and TEDx speaker, is known for a powerful voice and heartfelt songwriting that transcends genres and language. From winning national competitions in the Dominican Republic to debuting on Broadway stages in Mexico City, her artistry fuses musical theater roots with Latin soul, jazz, and indie fusion. Jazzy has been featured at the Twilight Concert Series, where she opened for Thee Sacred Souls, as well as the Utah Arts Festival, Jazz and Roots Festival, and Excellence in the Community. Amadora was a lover girl long before it became her moniker. A lover girl by nature and a fairy princess by design, her sound lives in the clouds somewhere between the mountain peaks of Utah and the lush gardens of her imagination. Her debut single, "Jardin," highlights this obsession with the organic world, blending it with an ethereal, fairy princess persona. Fusing the nostalgic, high-speed energy of drum and bass with the sultry, vintage-glamour of dream pop synth sounds. Yawar Designs, Cynthia Ponce. Yawar presents a collection of wearable textile art inspired by Peruvian culture, feminine empowerment, and personal transformation. Super Cool and Stuff, Ricky Vigil. An artist and educator from Salt Lake City. He has been creating zines and comics for over 15 years, including the autobiographical Super Cool and Stuff and the all-ages buddy comedy Skamigos. His art combines the rebellious energy of punk rock with the goofy fun of Saturday morning cartoons.
