Crews are scheduled to begin removing the top layer of asphalt on Sam's Blvd. in Kearns. The work area extends from approximately 4800 West to 4000 West.
According to a notice on the city's website, work is set to begin on Wednesday, June 22. Typical work hours for the project are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Crews will work on half of the roadway at a time. While one lane will remain open for travel in each direction, the lanes will be shifted to one side of the road.
Residents should expect to lose access to their driveways for a brief period, likely about an hour, when new asphalt is placed and rolled in front of homes.
