Lehi High graduate Legend Glasker recorded 131 receiving yards in BYU's 41-23 win over Colorado State on Saturday, Sept. 19, according to a September 21 report. The performance, which included five receptions, represents the fourth-best single-game receiving total by a BYU freshman in program history.
Glasker's notable play occurred during the second possession of the game when quarterback Bear Bachmeier threw a 52-yard pass down the left sideline. The true freshman caught the ball with one hand while a defensive back attempted to grab his arm, eventually turning the play into a gain of approximately 70 yards. This marked Glasker's second one-handed catch in two weeks, following a similar play against Arizona.
By halftime, Glasker had accumulated 113 of his 131 receiving yards across three catches and added a 5-yard rushing touchdown. This score helped BYU establish a 31-7 lead. Bachmeier finished the game completing 12 of 16 passes for 227 yards, while the Cougars totaled 559 yards of offense.
Glasker, who is the cousin of BYU linebacker Isaiah Glasker, graduated early from Lehi High to enroll at BYU for spring practice. His season began on Sept. 5 against Utah Tech, where he scored three touchdowns. BYU enters a bye week before scheduled to face TCU on Oct. 3.
