The Vernal City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 7. The session is set to take place in the Vernal City Council Chambers at 374 East Main Street starting at 5:30 PM.
The meeting agenda includes several public hearings scheduled for 5:30 PM. The commission will consider a recommendation for the Everbuilt Rezone involving properties at 1315 West 500 North, 1189 West 500 North, and 381 North 1250 West, identified as parcels 05:006:0012, 05:006:0013, and 05:005:0029.
Additionally, the commission will hear recommendations regarding three amendments to the Vernal City Planning and Zoning Code proposed by Braeden Christofferson. These include amendments to Section 16.06.010, Section 16.58.112 regarding subdivision vacation requirements, and Section 16.60 regarding master site plans, specifically subsections 16.60.030, 16.60.050, and 16.60.060.
Action items on the agenda include recommendations for two conditional use permits. The commission will consider a permit for TCM Towing for the property located at 964 East Highway 40, parcel 05:039:0004. The commission will also consider a conditional use permit for Cajun Consulting for the property at 291 South Vernal Ave, parcel 05:032:0156.
Other standing business includes the designation of the meeting chair and members, and the approval of meeting minutes from Sept. 8, 2026.
