Welcome Coach Crystal Nye to Spanish Fork Girls BasketballSpanish Fork High SchoolSeptember 22, 2026Crystal Nye is a wife, mother of six, collegiate basketball standout, and entrepreneur who has built her life around God, family, hard work, and serving others.
Crystal played women’s basketball at Weber State University, where she became a three-time All-Big Sky First Team selection and helped lead the Wildcats to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2002 and 2003. She was also part of two Big Sky championship teams. In 2016, she was inducted into the Weber State Athletics Hall of Fame.
The lessons Crystal learned through basketball — discipline, teamwork, accountability, resilience, and the importance of bringing people together — have carried into every part of her life. Her small business, Tropical Sno, has been successful in large part to the lessons she learned through athletics.
Whether on the basketball court or in business, Crystal believes success is about more than individual achievement. It is about proper focus, creating opportunities, building strong relationships, and doing what’s right in every aspect of life.
