The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the official website, logo, and music album for its 2027 youth theme on Friday, Oct. 16. The theme, titled "Rejoice in Christ," was first announced on Sept. 1 and serves as the same theme for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration.
Connecting Youth to Temple Worship
According to a Church newsroom announcement on Oct. 16, the "Rejoice in Christ" theme is based on Philippians 4:4. The release of these resources aims to help youth and leaders incorporate the theme through various experiences, such as music, devotionals, conferences, broadcasts, and faith walks. These activities are designed to help youth focus on Jesus Christ throughout the upcoming year.
Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman said the shared theme will help connect youth to both the Salt Lake Temple Celebration and the blessings of temple worship worldwide. Freeman expressed enthusiasm for the theme, stating, "I just love this thought of the youth all over the world rejoicing in all that we know about the house of the lord and the blessings that come from that knowledge. This will be a year of hallelujah. This will be a year of hosanna. This will be a year of rejoicing for us. I love that the youth will be part of that great year of rejoicing."

The 2027 youth theme album, also titled "Rejoice in Christ," contains eight new songs. As reported by the Church newsroom on Oct. 16, the full album launched on Friday, Oct. 16, and is currently available in English on the Church's 2026 youth theme website, the Gospel Library, the Strive to Be YouTube channel, Spotify, and Apple Music.
