The Millville Planning Commission met at City Hall on August 6, 2026, to conduct official business including agenda approvals and zoning reviews. Commissioner Matt Anderson presided over the meeting, which was adjourned at approximately 8:19 p.m.
During the meeting, the commission approved a zoning clearance for an addition for Ken Sorensen located at 275 E 300 N, noting that setbacks were in compliance with the code. The commission also voted to recommend approval for the preliminary plat of the River Edge Subdivision, located at 243 W 100 N, which involves dividing a house from the rest of the land.
The commission reviewed the city's sidewalk code as part of a Chapter 17.40.J review. A public hearing was scheduled for a future meeting to address new codes for sidewalks and retaining walls.
