The Millville City Planning Commission held a regularly scheduled meeting at the Millville City Offices to address several agenda items. The meeting included reviews of zoning clearances and subdivision plats.
During the meeting, commissioners reviewed the minutes from the July 16, 2026, meeting. The commission approved a sign permit for Ian McArthur at South Valley Rentals located at 920 W 2675 S. Additionally, the commission approved a zoning clearance for a new residence for Welshow Holdings, LLC at 385 S. 550 East. However, the commission voted to deny a zoning clearance for an accessory building for Kalob Wahler at 120 N 300 E because it did not comply with current code.
The agenda also included a review of the River Edge Subdivision Preliminary Plat and the Chapter 17.40.J Sidewalk Code. Other items discussed included a first draft of the retaining wall code and zoning clearance for an addition for Ken Sorensen at 275 E 300 N.
The commission scheduled its next meeting for Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
