Kaysville GIVES is calling on local residents and businesses to help meet a goal of filling more than 1,800 Christmas gifts for children, families, and neighbors. The organization is working to bring joy to over 140 local families during the upcoming holiday season.
Ways to participate in drive
There are several ways for the community to participate in the drive. Individuals can select tags from a virtual giving tree or use an Amazon Gift List for suggested donations, which are delivered directly to Young Truck and Trailer in Kaysville.
Deadline for gift returns
All items selected from the giving tree must be returned to Kaysville City Hall or to Young Truck and Trailer, located at 220 N. 650 W., by December 12, 2025.
Fill the Fire Truck event
A Fill the Fire Truck event is scheduled for December 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Barnes Park parking lot off 200 North. The Kaysville Fire Department, Youth City Council, and City Council will collect cash, checks, gift cards, and new items including toys, books, warm clothes, boots, shoes, socks, underwear, coats, hats, and gloves for children of all ages.
Photos with holiday characters
Santa and the Grinch will be present at the event for photos.
How to make donations
Financial contributions can be made online or in person at Kaysville City Hall. For donations exceeding $250, a tax write-off receipt will be provided. Payments may also be made via telephone by calling the office at 801-546-1235. More information is available at www.kaysvillegives.com.
