Layton High School has released details regarding the upcoming PSAT/NMSQT digital test. The in-school assessment will include reading, writing, and math components.
The test is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Layton High School. Registration for the exam is due Monday, Oct. 12, and carries an $18 cost. According to the school, students who pay through the optional fee tab in myDSD are considered registered.
For 11th grade students, the exam serves as a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The assessment is intended to help students assess skill levels and readiness for college and careers, providing connections to colleges and universities as well as suggestions for academic improvement.
The PSAT/NMSQT provides college and career planning resources through its digital format.
