The Duchesne County Commission scheduled a combined working and regular meeting for Sept. 14, 2026, according to a Sept. 11 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Duchesne County Administration Building.
The agenda for the meeting includes several items for discussion and consideration. These involve updates from Public Works and Emergency Management, as well as discussions regarding quotes to move two steel buildings in Roosevelt and the replacement of a tilt trailer for the Road Department. Other topics include approach permits, Meraki equipment replacements, and an RFP for ambulance services.
Commissioners will also consider Resolution No. 26-07, which supports drafting an amended Project Area Plan to add property in the Black Gold, Utah Inland Port Authority Project Area. Additionally, the meeting will address the CJC Succession and Strategic Plan, a forensic interviewer, and the Junk Vehicle Contest winners.
Following the regular meeting, a Board of Equalization hearing regarding tax adjustments is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
