Briggs Parker, a 12th-grade student at Skyridge High School (SHS), has been recognized as the SHS Athlete of the Month. The boys track athlete recently demonstrated standout performances in sprints and relays during the State competition.
During the State meet, Parker captured a gold medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.7 seconds.
In addition to his gold medal performance, Parker earned a silver medal in the boys 200m dash, recording a personal-record time of 20.93 seconds.
Parker also contributed to a silver medal finish in the 4x200m relay, where he served as the anchor for his teammates.
