The Copperton Planning Commission has announced a scheduled meeting for Sept. 2, 2026, which will include both business items and public hearings, according to a notice published August 20.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. According to the notice, the business meeting portion will include the election of the 2026 Chair and Vice Chair, a discussion regarding the 2026 Planning Commission meeting schedule, and the approval of meeting minutes from Dec. 3, 2025.
Several public hearings are scheduled during the session. The commission will consider a resolution to amend Copperton's land use fee schedule, presented by Brian Hartsell. Additionally, planners will present items regarding amending the Copperton Municipal Code to adopt the 2024 Edition of the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code and a proposal to amend landscaping, screening, and water-efficiency standards for single-family dwellings.
