The lineup for the 2027 Kilby Block Party has been released, according to a October 28 report. The eighth iteration of the Salt Lake City indie festival will feature headliners including Deftones, The Strokes, and Jungle.
The event, which coincides with the 28th anniversary of Kilby Court, is scheduled to take place at the Utah State Fairpark between May 14 and May 16, 2027. The festival's announced lineup includes over 70 artists, with additional performances from Fontaines D.C., Slayyyter, Lil Yachty, Two Door Cinema Club, IDLES, and Spoon. Other scheduled acts include Weyes Blood, Phantogram, Hot Chip, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Kim Gordon, Julien Baker, Wednesday, Joyce Manor, Iceage, Racing Mount Pleasant, Grace Ives, Porches, Westside Cowboy, and Lip Critic. The announcement included question marks for several slots, suggesting more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ticket sales are scheduled to begin with presale starting October 28 at 12 PM Mountain Time. General three-day ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 29. Organizers noted that early bird passes sold out in record time.
The festival began in 2019 as a one-day event to mark the 20th anniversary of the local all-ages music venue Kilby Court. Last year's festival drew nearly 16,000 out-of-state visitors who spent an estimated $24.7 million in Utah. That event contributed an estimated $33.5 million to the state's GDP and supported an estimated 419 jobs for Utah residents. Headliners for the previous year included Turnide, The XX, and Lorde.
The festival stated that the 2027 event will continue the tradition of bringing together fans and performing artists to celebrate community and live music.
