Summer Science Day returned to the University of Utah on July 11, 2026. The event, which was free and open to all ages, invited the public to meet scientists, tour active laboratories, and participate in hands-on demonstrations.
Attendees could explore various scientific topics ranging from antibodies to zebrafish while viewing science in action through research demonstrations held at the University of Utah.
The event took place at the Eccles Health Sciences Education Building atrium located at 26 S 2000 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84113. The program included talks from innovators, visionaries, and world-leading experts focused on real research.
Family-friendly activities were available for participants to dive in and create. Food options during the event included Marquesas Corndogs and Jurassic Taco.
Free garage parking was provided across the street at the South Medical Garage (Lot 64) on levels 1 through 3, as well as in the Pharmacy (Lot 70) surface and MobilePay spots. Visitor parking lots marked for visitors were also available for use.
