The Utah Board of Travel Development approved the 2026 round of Cooperative Marketing Grants, according to a notice on the Utah Office of Tourism website. This program is designed to help local counties, Destination Marketing Organizations, non-profit attractions and events, federally recognized tribes, and municipalities amplify tourism advertising efforts to attract out-of-state visitors.
The Utah Office of Tourism recently conducted interviews with 63 partners over a three-day period for the grant program. The selection process involved committee members Lesha Coltharp, Joan Hammer, Alison Harford, AnnDee Mead, Jessica Merrill, Jordan Smith, and Kevin Smith, who reviewed applications and conducted in-person interviews to fund projects intended to impact Utah communities.
In a separate initiative to boost tourism industry recovery, Utah received $3,768,641 from the Economic Development Administration as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). These funds have been invested in six key initiatives and thirty-one subgrantee projects across the state.
The Utah Office of Tourism maintains a list of additional grant opportunities, educational materials, and events related to economic development and business support.
