The Eastern Summit County Planning Commission scheduled a meeting for September 3, 2026, according to a August 27 notice. The session is set to begin at 6:00 P.M. and will be held both electronically via Zoom and in person at the Summit County Courthouse Council Chambers in Coalville.
The meeting agenda includes public comment and the approval of minutes from July 16, 2026. Commission members will consider an amendment to an existing Conditional Use Permit for a 2,630 square foot accessory building located at 230 W Simpson Ln, involving applicant Camron Diamond.
Additionally, a public hearing is scheduled regarding a proposed Conditional Use Permit for an accessory building exceeding 2,000 square feet at 1685 W Spring Meadows Way for applicant Anthony Mariani. The commission is also slated to discuss a possible recommendation to the Summit County Council regarding amendments to the Eastern Summit County General Plan Chapters 1-11 and the Future Land Use Map.
The meeting will take place at the Summit County Courthouse Council Chambers located at 60 North Main Street, Coalville, Utah. Staff reports for the meeting are available by the end of the day on the Friday prior to the session at the Summit County website.
