The Smithfield City Council will hold a specially scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, according to a September 17 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 PM at 96 South Main in Smithfield.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a discussion with representatives from the Utah State University Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning Department regarding the City Vision Project. Additionally, there will be a presentation concerning the Utah Main Street Program.
Council members may also discuss and vote on Resolution 2026-10. This resolution would affirm Smithfield City's participation in and commitment to the Utah Main Street Program. The meeting will begin with a welcome, a pledge of allegiance, and a thought or prayer by Mayor Rudie.
