Skyridge High School athletics are entering new seasons, marked by coaching changes and upcoming schedules. The Skyridge girls soccer team is starting its year with a new head coach, Jhoan Alvizo, who is Spanish and Portuguese speaking.

In track, senior Briggs Parker captured a gold medal in the 100-meter dash at State with a time of 10.7 seconds. Senior Ty Baird also secured a gold medal in the high jump at State by clearing 6-feet-4.0-inches.
